Serums:
CellRenew: In the top 2 of my all time favorite serums! Packed with stem cells and hyaluronic acid to promote cell turnover and improve skin texture. Also great for acne, with ingredients like aloe vera and green tea extract to calm irritation, redness, and neutralize excess oil production.

Mandelic Clearing Serum: Sofie Pavitt changed my life with this serum! Mandelic acid is a gentle exfoliant to remove dead skin cells without irritation. Formulated for acne-prone, dull and uneven skintone. I have noticed a huge reduction in new breakouts, and reduced redness from old breakouts since I started using this over 8 months ago.
CocoKind’s Ceramide Serum: With a profile of 5 ceramides and lipids, this serum works to reduce moisture loss, locks in moisture, and protect the skin from environmental toxins. I use this in the am after mandelic acid, and before moisturizing.
CocoKind’s Discoloration Serum: Used to help reduce the appearance of acne scarring and skin damage. This serum utilizes alpha arbutin and chlorophyll both antioxidants that brighten the skin, offset redness, and improves the look of discoloration. I use this every night before moisturizing to help with acne scarring!
Moisturizers
Hydraberry: HERO product. This moisturizer is my favorite of all time. If your skin is dry, irritated or red, strip back your skincare routine to just a cleanser and this moisturizer twice a day, and see how it improves your skin!

Vanicream daily moisturizer: Do not sleep on this moisturizer. It is more light-weight than the hydraberry, and sits really well under any makeup. I use this as my am moisturizer, and hydraberry in the pm!
Skincare can, and should be simple especially if you are currently dealing with acne. If experiencing breakouts, or dry irritated skin, strip back to just a daily cleanser and moisturizer for a few weeks!
Often our initial response to breakouts is to attack the pimples aggressively. Things like benzyl peroxide, traditional spot treatments, and pimple patches are actually stripping our skin barrier, making our skin even more irritated, and susceptible to future breakouts. Avoid these “quick fixes.”
Companies have caught onto the consumers desire for “clean” products in the past few years, and have switched to labeling their products as “clean,” when they are in fact not. They may contain better ingredients, but this does not mean that they are acne-safe, non-pore clogging, or are free from endocrine disruptors or fragrances. Check your product labels!
